Couturier and multidisciplinary fashion designer Michelangelo Winklaar fuses craft, style and design. During the VIP Day at MASTERS EXPO, visitors were surprised by a pop-up fashion show by the couturier in hall 12. A beautiful reimagining of his very first collection, which was shown at the time at Amsterdam Fashion Week in 2013.
Michelangelo Winklaar is a unique fashion house where the ideas, research, design and assembly of couture pieces come from the couturier himself. To stroll around on festive occasions, to take center stage or to admire during exhibitions where, as a visitor, you get to touch the couture pieces. Couture at a high level, where the details are important and a piece lasts a lifetime. All home-grown and created in the Hofstad.
Michelangelo Winklaar shows new designs at home and abroad, which are then displayed in museums. For example, he has presented couture pieces at the Lange Voorhout, the Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Hotel des Indes, Feeric Fashionweek and museum Escher in het Paleis.
