When business meets pleasure: MASTERS & WINE 2021

After a turbulent time, MASTERS chose the high seas with the networking event MASTERS & WINE on July 1. A wonderful day where MASTERS met, networked and of course raised a glass to the future. All this framed with a boat trip with wine tasting over the Amstel river, delicious amuses from Hotel De L'Europe and a closing barbecue at Brasserie Paardenburg. Steady sailing!

At 1:30 p.m., a select group, consisting of MASTERS COMPANY- and MASTERS LEAGUE-members, gather in the beautiful garden of Brasserie Paardenburg in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Over a staircase decorated with flowers by Loose Florals, the guests made their entrance. After an introduction and word of welcome, guests may take their seats on one of the three salon boats of our partners Smidtje Luxury Cruises and Rederij Belle, which will take them across the Amstel River to Amsterdam and back.

Wine tasting

Once on the boat, entertainment has been provided. There will be a hard fought battle for the coveted honorary title and grand prize during the quiz and a wine tasting organized by Vinites. Snacks are served at Hotel De L'Europe after which the guests begin the journey back to home port Ouderkerk aan de Amstel.

Walking dinner

Once back at Brasserie Paardenburg the winners of the quiz are announced and four lucky ones end up going home with a nice prize. After this, DJ Sheila Hill starts the party with her music. The feet go off the floor and Philipponnat champagne flows richly. Meanwhile, the guests enjoy wood-grilled meat from Nice to Meat prepared on The Caveman Grill and more culinary snacks prepared by the chef of Paardenburg.
