It may again, safe sailing

Double celebration for cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Indeed, sailing has been allowed to resume. This allows the cruise line to resume the inaugural season of the Seven Seas Splendor which, more than a year after its christening in February 2020, could only complete two cruises with guests. The SailSAFE Program

The luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has managed to deliver an unparalleled experience to its guests for more than 25 years. However, the corona crisis put a stop to this last year. Regent Seven Seas Cruises decided to voluntarily suspend its cruises. During this time, the shipping company did not sit idle, but worked on the new, comprehensive health and safety program SailSAFE to create protection from Covid-19. The program is science-based and developed under guidance from a team of public health and science experts, including the SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council.

Through the SailSAFE program, there will be a good balance of safety, comfort and freedom through spacious suites, multiple culinary dining options and expansive, common areas.

Worth the wait

The new program allows the Seven Seas Splendor to actually make its first sailing from the United Kingdom in early September, after a year. The voyage will last 11 nights and will visit Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland from Southampton, England.

President and chief executive officer Jason Montague commented that the cruise was worth the wait: "With stunning design, luxurious suites, exquisite cuisine, dynamic entertainment and outstanding personal service, the Seven Seas Splendor one of the most highly anticipated ships in the history of cruising and my promise to our loyal and aspiring guests is that the ship will undoubtedly be worth the wait."

The cruise line maintains as many of its originally planned itineraries as the global health climate allows at the time. But never get bored on Regent's beautiful ships. In addition to all the unlimited free excursions offered during the voyage, the shipping line also offers a host of options on board. These include an array of specialty restaurants, outdoor dining options and entertainment.
