The key to success

"In the 80's Lyanne started in real estate and that's when the love for the profession was born. She started her own real estate agency in Breukelen in 2003 and worked with project developers in southern Spain and Turkey until 2007. In that same year, she moved into her real estate office in Breukelen to focus entirely on the Dutch market; municipality of Breukelen, now municipality of Stichtse Vecht. "I am a late bloomer and did not do the real estate training until 2008, because I definitely wanted to join the NVM. In addition to being a registered broker, I am also a registered appraiser; this combination fits me like a glove."

At Lyanne Metz Realty, all the support needed when buying or selling a home is provided. Expert, personal and careful and the corresponding transparency is essential. "Our approach and method is different, we broker with attention and personal flair. The bar is high and we want to deliver top quality and service. Networking

"I network a lot because I enjoy it immensely! I have met so many interesting people I would never meet otherwise. Being interested and interested in other people, being willing to listen and help when they need help. Networking is also making a selfless effort for the common and social good. It is my belief that if you are successful in networking as a person, you will not only be successful in your personal life, but also your business life. My networking tip: "if you are a member of a network, go. Not once but several times, then you will really benefit. In Breukelen everyone knows me by now, so I sit at the table of many sellers. Building up a real estate office is not something you do overnight, you have to deal with the residents who have to get to know you, but also with the established order. Out of nowhere I have built an NVM office and I am quite proud of that."

MASTERS Member League

"Right at the beginning I became a member of the MASTERS League. A friend had pointed out the membership to me. I unfortunately missed the sloop tour of the Amsterdam canals because I could not attend that."
