Bloom

"Nature and woman in bloom. The work Bloom shows that nature and man are inseparable. The work is made in one line, which emphasizes this connection. It celebrates life and the beginning of something new. This work is part of The Bigger Picture, a series showing that we are all connected, that we are all one. We need to remind ourselves to look at the bigger picture and return to the essence: our connection to and dependence on everything around us. The Bigger Picture invites viewers to make the relationship between themselves and everything around them. It invites us to look at the bigger picture."

Modern Family

"The Work Modern Family reflects the way the lives of this family, these lovers, are connected. I have always been intrigued by relationships and (unspoken) feelings and thoughts. I express these on canvas, focusing on love, feminine power and energy. I personally find it more exciting to deviate from realism and choose an expressionistic, modern form of painting. Through one line, the viewer can wonder where to draw the line between the real and the surreal."

Naked

"Naked symbolizes the power of vulnerability. Opening yourself up will allow you to make a deeper connection with those around you. In addition, the work symbolizes respect for one's own identity and that of another. Expressing your 'true self' is necessary for a deeper connection with others."
