Madonna's new stash

The queen of pop is back: after years of shuttling between New York, The Hamptons and Lisbon, Madonna has decided to buy a multi-million dollar Los Angeles villa from fellow artist The Weeknd. And that for a sloppy 19 million euros. MASTERS takes a peek inside...Text: Mical Joseph
Image: Realtor.comThe Weeknd bought the brand-new mansion about four years ago for 18 million euros and then initially put it on the market for a rather optimistic asking price of 23.5 million euros. Eventually the two got out and Madonna can count herself rich with her new acquisition. With nine bedrooms, nine full and two half bathrooms spread over about 1,150 square meters, there is plenty of room to offer her guests a fine place for overnight stays. Or for the assistants, nannies, bodyguards and security guards....

Madonna's new neighbors in Hidden Hills include rapper Lil Wayne, who just spent 15 million euros on an old Hidden Hills rectory, artist Drake, Dwayne Wade, actress Lori Loughlin and several members of the Kardashian's. In short: a motley crew.

Although Madonna still celebrated Easter in The Hamptons, the pop star already returned to the City of Angels last year . Her decision to stay may have had something to do with that biography about her life that she is directing. The first bedroom has a completely private wing on the second floor and features a fireplace in a polished stone wall and among LED-lit shelves. The bedroom also features a private balcony overlooking the backyard. The bedroom also has a bath and two walk-in closets. The colossal kitchen is full of top-quality technical marvels and has not just one, but two huge islands. Adjacent to the kitchen is a breakfast nook and huge family room.Between the main house and the patio (complete with fireplace and outdoor kitchen) is a neat lawn, pool and spa.

Her pied-à-terre(s)

Of course, the villa in the City of Angels is not her only one. In New York's Upper East Side she owns a 30 million euro triple mansion, in The Hamptons a horse farm and in Portuguese Lisbon Madonna bought an 18th century Moorish mansion 3.5 years ago.
