Alien hunt complete with piece of moon

Now if you are so much a fan of the moon, why not also have a 60-meter-long yacht built in your favorite theme? Although Lusine was actually commissioned by someone else, billionaire Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum is now a proud owner. His Lusine is completely moon-themed, while a piece of lunar meteorite is used as decoration.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, CEO of Emirates Group, owns the alien yacht. Lusine comes from Armenian and means - yes - moon. The luxurious yacht accommodates 16 guests and 14 crew members. On top is a touch-and-go helicopter pad for VIP guests who wish to set foot aboard the yacht.

The moon appears subtly throughout the interior, such as in lamps and inlays on the deck. The most stunning representation of the planet, however, is literally a piece of the moon. On a coffee table in the main salon, a piece of real lunar meteorite can be found on the centerpiece. Not surprising that this very spot is the owner's favorite base of operations.

Time is precious

The interior features more than 180 rare woods. Versailles patterned oak floors, crystal chandeliers, sideboards of gold leaf and white onyx add an extra bit of bling. Clocks of all shapes and sizes can be found in every room to symbolize the owner's mantra that time is precious. And the yacht? This one costs about €65 million.
