Colorful comfort

For this penthouse, the architects of ENZO architecture N interior received a carte blanche from the client. There were only two wishes: it had to exude color and comfort and everything had to be large, yet atmospheric. MASTERS gets right to the point and takes a look at this beautiful retreat.

That the penthouse is also a design of ENZO's hand, it facilitated, in its own words, the client's wishes to perfection 

Own label 

A long corridor from which the bedrooms and bathrooms are located leads to the high, open living space. Here the glass door DROOM stands out, incorporating the contours of South Africa. In the living room, colorful comfort is visible in the form of the spacious sitting area around the high fireplace with a custom-made steel surround. 

The robust BALK coffee tables of the own label ZOEN by ENZO go well with the very spacious sofa of Italian manufacture. Furthermore, slender furniture such as the NOOT sideboard, GRAAN drinks cabinet and the RIET room divider provide the necessary airy counterbalance in the interior. 

Brown café

For the kitchen, the client had a special wish: it should have the atmosphere of a cozy brown café. Therefore, the architects chose dark oak, copper and natural stone as materials. They also created not only a breakfast bar for this reason, but also a niche for a dining area around bar table STELT. Due to the generous dimensions, even a professional chef can prepare a delicious dinner here on festive occasions. All necessary equipment is located behind sliding cabinet doors.

Wellness and Gym

The top floor houses an open, bright guest room with kitchen and a large, sheltered sun terrace. Also located here are a spa bathroom with generous freestanding tub, sauna AND a large Gym overlooking the living room below.

Except for a few personal belongings, everything in this penthouse was designed and chosen by ENZO; from the ZOEN furniture and marble of the bathrooms to the bedding and crockery. Yet the architects managed to give the apartment a personal touch through color, open spaces and customization. As a result, the result is a calming home base in the client's hectic life.
