Rising popularity of crypto

To enable payment with crypto currencies, the hotel chain is partnering with BitPay. With BitPay, the hotel accepts, among others: Bitcoins, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Dogecoin. With the rising popularity of crypto currencies in other industries, the hotel industry could not be left behind. Paying with crypto has previously been accepted in real estate, cars and art, for example.

Richard Kessler, CEO of the Kessler Collection believes crypto-currencies will become more and more accepted in the future.

Chief Commercial Officer of BitPay explains that payments with cryptocurrencies are cheaper than credit cards and make it easier for international travelers to pay. According to the commercial officer, the Kessler Collection is one of the leading hotel groups and finds it very innovative that they allow customers to pay in cryptocurrency.

The increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies and the Kessler Collection's acceptance of this payment method could mean that we will see this payment method more often in the hotel industry.
