Kenny Friederichs appoints Junior Chef at Latour

Kenny Friederichs recently promoted to Junior Chef at Latour restaurant in Noordwijk. He uses his passion for cooking and a dose of ambition to create a tasty success story under the care of Senior Chef Marcel van Lier.

Since 2005, Latour restaurant has continuously been awarded a prestigious Michelin star. With an impressive score of 16/20 in Gault&Millau and a listing in the Lekker Top 100, Latour has conquered a prominent place on the Dutch coast. Friederichs was previously Sous Chef at the restaurant, but was recently promoted to Junior Chef.

Unique synergy

According to the team, the collaboration between the two chefs symbolizes the vision of equality and mutual respect, where they both contribute their individual focus and creativity. With what they say is a perfect balance of 50/50, the two chefs jointly take responsibility for the development of the menu. Says restaurant manager Stan Kerckhoffs: 'In Latour, talent and collaboration go hand in hand. That is why we are pleased to share that our two chefs will form a unique synergy at the heart of our gastronomic domain.”

Want a taste? On April 28, Kenny will showcase his culinary mastery during the returning Sunday Vibes event. Together with a young chef he prepares a gastronomic lunch on Sunday afternoon in Latour. Kenny starts with Yornie van Dijk, who was awarded Michelin Young Chef of the Year.
