JR Yachts introduces LUMEN E10

A first in the nautical world and which will soon glide silently over the waters. JR Yachts introduces the LUMEN E10. This fully electrically powered boat of no less than 10 meters long is a serious innovation on the water. The LUMEN E27 will be launched exclusively on June 10 and the first images have already been released…

Specially designed to achieve long distances over the water as silently as possible, the LUMEN E10 is the result of 5 years of careful research. According to the brand, this distinguishes the LUMEN from other electric boats, where many other noise sources can often be heard due to the loss of the combustion engine. With the iconic above-water hull – designed by Mulder Design – and the efficient underwater hull, designed by JR Yachts founder Jaap de Jonge, the LUMEN E10 offers a range of 100 to 160 kilometers at a cruising speed of 13 km/h. In addition, it is even possible to water ski or wakeboard in silence behind the LUMEN at speeds of 30-35 km/h. The spacious cockpit, sun bed and swimming platform offer a special experience for lovers of elegance and class. This way you experience the true peace and quiet of sailing with the convenience of a motorboat.

Back to the essence

The introduction of the LUMEN E10 marks a milestone in sustainable cruising on the water. “We have gone back to the essence of sailing: peace, freedom and relaxation,” says Jaap de Jonge. “Everything is focused on the boat trip itself: experiencing nature in silence and luxury. All systems, such as the steering wheel, joystick and fully integrated dashboard, are designed for intuitive and effortless control in all conditions.

As an introduction, the LUMEN E10 will not only go on a Dutch tour, but will also cross borders with an international tour. In the Netherlands, with a nod to its Frisian roots, an Eleven Cities Tour through the most beautiful water-rich areas of the Netherlands is on the program. The International tour then starts to Switzerland, Italy, and the South of France. The full tour program is op www.lumenyachts.com to find.
