The Ballon Bleu de Cartier Watch | A new vision of roundness

The name gives it away, but this model owes its name to blue balloons. The color blue can therefore be seen in the blue hands, for example. Ballon Bleu was created in 2007 from a new vision of roundness, with Cartier designers giving volume to the circle. The double convex shape provides the perfect balance between line and volume. To avoid interrupting the line, the sapphire crystal winding crown is perfectly integrated into the case, with the crown cap under a metal ring at three o'clock protecting the blue bubble.

The Panthère de Cartier watch | A true style icon for women who want to stand out

First created in 1983, the Panthère watch is truly a piece of art: the square case with rounded corners, the seamless curve of the horns and the visible rivets.

With the Panthère watch, Cartier aims for clean lines, without losing sight of the softness of the lines that make this timepiece a quintessential jewelry watch. The watch owes its name to its bracelet: ultra flexible and reflecting the movements of the House's emblematic animal. Redesigned in 2017, the Panthère de Cartier watch reflects liberated, joyous and victorious femininity.View here the Cartier Panthère

The rectangular Tank watch | The intuition of a visionary

In 1917, Louis Cartier was inspired by the purity of line to create a new watch shape. The two parallel stretchers of the Tank timepiece are an established signature of the Tank watch. Inspired by the design of a combat vehicle seen from above, this timepiece follows one clear graphic principle: the stretchers form the steps, the case the gun tower. A new and fundamental principle emerged from this combination: the attachments of the watch case are aligned with the band to maintain the rhythm of the design.See here the Cartier Tank

The Santos de Cartier Watch: 1904 | The First Modern Wrist Watch

The name of this watch comes from aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont who asked Louis Cartier for a clock that would allow him to see the time while flying. Previously, Santos, like every pilot, in fact carried a pocket watch. With this, the first wristwatch was a reality. The Santos design, created in 1904, is based on the concept of form, the taste for minimalism, the precision of proportions and the eye for detail. Cartier also created a square wrist watch for the first time at a time when the pocket watch was round. The screws, traditionally hidden in timepieces, are made visible and form an aesthetic code of the collection.View here the Cartier Santos
