Meet Irene van de Laar

Irene is a jack of many trades. She is a presenter, actress and also a model. After finishing high school, she left for Tokyo at the age of 18, where she was immediately offered a contract with a modeling agency. A successful career followed, in which she went all over the world for her modeling career: Madrid, Milan, London, New York and Paris. After living in Paris for four years, she returned to the Netherlands in 1994 and was chosen as Miss Universe Netherlands to represent our country in the Philippines. Since 1995 she has been active as a presenter and actress. A true all-rounder, she also competed as a candidate in the VIP edition of the program of the same name and went pretty far.

3. Brut De Mer

Irene: "My favorite restaurant in Amsterdam, where I live. In the middle of the Pijp area. It's small, accessible, the best oysters, the best wines, in short; the best combo of wine, food and ambiance."
