Hillside Beach Club: the ultimate hideaway on the Aegean Sea

In the suite of Luxury Escapes & Estates, during MASTERS SUMMER EDITION, you will be introduced to a selection of world-class brands in the field of travel and second homes. One of them is Hillside Beach Club: a gem of a hideaway that will make you spontaneously want to pack your bags…

Nestled among pine forests on the picturesque coast of Fethiye in Turkey, lies a resort that feels more like a lifestyle than a holiday destination. Hillside Beach Club combines comfort, nature and culture in such a natural way that you know you’ll be back. And it shows: a whopping 72% of guests book a return stay before they leave.

Wellness with a view

What makes Hillside unique is the focus on well-being without the vagueness. Twice a year the resort is completely dedicated to the Feel Good Week (May 4–11 and October 5–12, 2025), where everything revolves around recovery and balance. From breathing therapy to sound baths, and from yoga on a silent pier to aromatherapy under the guidance of professionals; here it is not about having to, but about being allowed to.

In addition, there are two spas, each providing total relaxation in their own way. The open-air SANDA Nature Spa is hidden among the pine trees and mixes Eastern rituals with Western wellness, think: fragrant oils, soft wind and the sound of nothing. Inside the club you will find the more classic SANDA Spa: with seven beautiful treatment rooms, Turkish baths, a state-of-the-art sauna, jacuzzi and snow fountain.

Awarded and studied

In addition to peace and nature, Hillside also has a lot to offer culturally. During the annual London Jazz in the Sun (21–27 September 2025), international artists provide balmy evenings by the sea. Film lovers can indulge themselves during the annual open-air screenings of the British Film Institute, complete with workshops and Q&As under the stars.

On August 1, Kalemya Bay gets a musical touch: during Classical Music on the Sea, the idyllic coastline turns into a floating stage for a classical symphony orchestra at sunset.

Hillside also scores high in culinary terms. The Main Restaurant serves a mix of international classics and local specialties in buffet form every day. For those who prefer something a little more refined, there is Pasha on the Bay: Mediterranean dishes in an adults-only setting right on the sea. And at the informal Beach Bar & Restaurant you can enjoy Italian dishes with a view of the sunset. Fresh, light and prepared with care. It is therefore not surprising that Hillside was awarded the Best Resort Hotel Award by Gault & Millau Turkey in 2025.

To top it all off, the resort was also the subject of a case study at Harvard Business School, as an example of how to take a holiday feeling to the next level, with genuine hospitality as the key word.

Sports with a view

For those who can’t sit still, or just fancy some action, Hillside is a sporty playground by the sea. From yoga and meditation to games of paddle and pickleball; everything is possible, nothing is required. There are tennis courts, you can sail, water ski, wakeboard or dive. Also nice: guided hiking and cycling tours through the green hills and historical sites of Fethiye. And with two paddle courts and the first official water ski and wakeboard school in Turkey, the resort is at least as attractive for sports enthusiasts as for sun worshippers.
