The best-paid football players of the Dutch national team belong to the absolute top of the football world and not only earn their stripes on the field, but also large amounts in their bank account. 3. Georginio Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum, playing for Al-Ettifaq, takes third place with an annual salary of €15 million. His move to the Saudi club has not only broadened his sporting horizons, but has also significantly boosted his bank account. In 2011, Wijnaldum made his debut for the Dutch football team. 

2. Matthijs de Ligt

In second place is Matthijs de Ligt, the defender of Bayern Munich. He earns according to Capology approximately €16 million annually. De Ligt's impressive performances and leadership make him a valuable asset for both club and country. Earlier this week it was announced that De Ligt could sign a five-year contract with Erik ten Hag's Manchester United. The German fans would rather not see this happen and take action. Bayern Munich supporters started a petition to keep Matthijs de Ligt at the club.

1. Frankie de Jong

Frenkie de Jong, the dynamic midfielder of FC Barcelona, ​​is number one. Although we will not see the player in action during the European Championship this year, De Jong is the best-paid player of the Dutch national team with an annual salary of no less than € 20 million. Frenkie injured his ankle in April during El Clásico, the match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
