5x best horror movies during Halloween

Halloween is upon us again and that means popcorn on the left, drinks on the right and a good horror movie on your mind. MASTERS tips five horror movies that you can enjoy binging this weekend. Dead Silence (2007)

This movie is absolutely not to be missed. Dead Silence tells the story of Jamie and Lisa Ashey, a newlywed couple who move into a new home outside their old, haunted hometown of Ravens Fair. When Lisa is brutally murdered, Jamie moves back to Ravens Fair to bury her and investigate the legend of murdered ventriloquist Mary Shaw, who Jamie believes is connected to the case.

The Conjuring (2013)

This gruesome tale is about world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. When their help is sought by a family terrorized by a dark presence in their remote farmhouse, they are confronted by a powerful demonic entity and become involved in the most terrifying case of their lives. This film is based on real cases of Ed and Lorraine Warren.

The Grudge (2004)

American medical student Karen is doing her internship in Japan. When a nurse fails to show up for work, Karen goes in her place to a dilapidated house, where she finds Emma: an elderly American woman staring sternly ahead in an empty room. As she cares for the stricken woman, Karen hears strange noises upstairs. The house appears to be haunted by a supernatural force, The Grudge.

The Others (2001)

Grace lives with her two children in a country house on an island on the English coast. In her house, she and her children wait for her husband, who fought in World War II. The children have a disease that prevents them from contact with direct sunlight, and so they must live by strict rules.

It (1980)

A town in Maine was ravaged by 'It' thirty years ago. A group of misfits managed to defeat 'It' back then. Now 'It' returns, again in the form of the clown Pennywise. The childhood friends come together again to destroy 'It' once and for all. But 'It' is prepared this time.
