As vaccination efforts increase, it seems that we can again make tentative plans for next summer. According to luxury travel experts, the Mediterranean is a favorite, especially Greece. Greece announced earlier that it will open May 14 to travelers who have been vaccinated or can provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test. Vacation spots on Greece

1. Kalesma

At this resort, located on Mykonos, you will wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread coming from a stone oven. You can spend the day by the infinity pool, enjoying Cycladic specialties and sea views in the restaurant and at the hotel. All 25 accommodations are suites or villas which all have private patios and pools. The style of the hotel is modern-chic and the interiors are made of wood from the region, marble and stone. 2. Grace hotel Santorini

Auberge Resorts Collection's Grace hotel is located on the cliffs of Santorini. Besides being one of the few hotels on a cliff where children are welcome, this place is especially loved for its spectacular sunset views. The pool, at 22 meters, is also the largest on the island. Renovated this year, the Grace Villa has two bedrooms, a kitchen a pool, a wine and cigar bar, an outdoor fireplace and a steam room. A private chef and a butler are also available.

3. The Rooster

Lifestyle resort The Rooster is located on the island of Antiparos and embraces the philosophy of slow living. This resort serves the finest organic cuisine and values sustainability. The 17 cottages have a rustic-chic feel and feature furnished terraces, sun terraces, outdoor showers, freshwater pools and views of the Aegean Sea.

4. Amanzoe

On April 21, Amanzoe will reopen its doors. New is a selection of Wellness Retreats where you can undergo a variety of treatments. For example, there is the Restore & Rebalance Retreat that works to increase your clarity and focus with sound therapy. This year, the hotel will also partner with a Tennis Academy to offer private tennis lessons and clinics. 5. Kenshõ Psarou

Located on a sandy beach, KenshĹŤ Psarou is one of the newer hotels on Mykonos. Each of the 31 rooms is decorated with pieces by well-known designers and has its own hot tub or plunge pool. The four-bedroom villa has a private garden and sea views. Dishes from the hotel's restaurant come from chef Ippokratis Anagnostelis, who infuses Mediterranean cuisine with Greek, Japanese and Peruvian flavors.
