Sydney on Darling Harbour, Australia

"I was there in 2000 with the Olympics. I can never get that image out of my head: looking down on the harbor, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from me suite."

Zarafa Camp, Botswana

"Another one of those safari lodges where you faint with luxury. They only have four tents there, furnished with a four-poster bed, fireplace, copper bathtub and a plunge pool from which you look out over the lagoon full of unusual birds and hippos."

Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, Antibes, France

"Classic hotel. I absolutely love that lunch there. I usually take the burrata there, which is insanely delicious."

Babassu, Amsterdam

"This beauty salon on Cornelis Schuytstraat is my favorite place for a facial. They sell 'my' brand there, Dermalogica, so I really like that too."

Babylon Tower, Simondium, South Africa

"A unique wine estate with beautiful gardens, great views, a restaurant in a greenhouse and a wonderful spa. I did a wine tasting there the other day. Awesome! Only I as a local - that's how I consider myself, I've been coming there for 23 years - don't go in high season anymore. Then it's way too busy in and around Cape Town."
