Watch fair Watches and Wonders took place from March 30 to April 5, traditionally in Geneva. The finest, newest timepieces were presented by the top watchmakers. MASTERS lists some of the newest gems of 2022, which will of course soon be available at GASSAN.Text: Patrick Stoffer

A novelty that really stands out is the Rolex GMT-MASTER II with green/black bezel. This new edition of the watch mirrors the GMT-Master created in 1955, which accompanied the advent of commercial flight. Adjustments were needed to move the winding crown to the left side of the watch case and the date window to 9 o'clock. Changes were also needed in the process of measuring the precision of the watch during final testing.
* However, this information relates only to an online launch. The Rolex models have not yet been delivered to GASSAN branches. Due to security concerns, GASSAN does not comment by phone on existing stock and deliveries of these novelties.
TUDOR presents a new technical model with a completely new look. This watch named Black Bay Pro has a 39 millimeter diameter, fixed steel bezel and a Manufactuur Caliber with built-in GMT function. The founder of the brand, Hans Wilsdorf, had provided the timepieces to expedition members. He had just developed the first waterproof and self-winding TUDOR watch, the Oyster Prince model, and could think of no better test environment for it than the extreme climate of the Arctic. The Black Bay Pro reflects the heritage of these instruments used by the pioneering explorers. This "toolwatch" is designed for professional use.
This year's updated new Tank Louis Cartier watch displays radical elegance, supported by the intensity of its monochrome dials: red, the Maison's signature color, and anthracite gray, a shade borrowed from the Cartier watchmaking palette. More radical, more intense; the third version of the Tank Louis Cartier complements this duo with a model with a deep black dial.
Panerai is proud to unveil the new Submersible QuarantaQuattro Bianco #PAM1226, the ultimate hybrid of heritage and effortless contemporary style. Panerai has launched two new models that will be added to the Submersible collection. As the name suggests, the Submersible QuarantaQuattro is now available in a 44 mm diameter that joins the existing sizes of 47 mm and 42 mm. The new Submersible model retains all the features of the collection, which is based on the emblematic Luminor case with its distinctive shape and patented crown lock. What sets it apart is the unidirectional rotating bezel.
