Futuristic caravan becomes reality

More than a decade ago, the first design of this futuristic caravan was announced. Now the so-called Romotow T8 has actually become a reality. Thanks to its rotating design, it is ideal for the vacationer who is once fed up with the view at the campsite.

The camper is the brainchild of New Zealand design firm W2. In 2018, the company unveiled a prototype trailer. The camper attracted a lot of attention thanks to its rotating design, but led many to question whether it would ever go into production. Five years later, then, there is a completed version that will be built by ACM Motorhomes.

Covered terrace

Once parked, the cab slides out and can be rotated 90 degrees. Ideal for creating a once different view this way. But when rotated, the undercarriage can also serve as a covered terrace with an integrated folding table and bench.

27 square meters of living space accommodates a kitchen, dining area, bathroom and master bedroom. However, W2 says there are options to upgrade the Romotow by choosing TVs or an outdoor projector with a multi-zone sound system. Ideal for at least not having to miss anything from your favorite series while camping.
