Fashion Player Award 2022

By now a marriage unlike any other: soccer and fashion. Footballers, but also certainly the soccer clubs, used to be unconcerned with fashion and trends. It was all about the 90 minutes on the field, but that is different nowadays. The most exclusive designers can be found at the biggest soccer clubs in the world. Real Madrid x Ermenegildo Zegna, Inter Milan x Moncler, Paris St.-Germain x DIOR and very recently AC Milan appeared fully clad in Off-White to give the Champions League season even more sparkle. Life After Football's prestigious Fashion Player Award will be presented on Monday, November 7, to the best-dressed footballer in the Eredivisie. Cast your vote: these are the nominees wearing the jewelry of TROPHY BY GASSAN, proud partner of Life After Football....

Flowers

This year the nominees have been assigned a special flower that symbolizes their character, style and charisma. These flowers run like a thread through the campaign and provide beautiful images.

Thom Haye (SC Heerenveen)

Thom Haye, the Amsterdam native played in the youth of AFC. Via various clubs in the Netherlands and an adventure with Italian Lecce, the midfielder has now landed at SC Heerenveen. The ease with which Thom manifests himself in midfield looks majestic. Just as impressive as the appearance of the rose. The rose that stands for love. Not only for the game, but Thom's love for fashion is clearly evident in his clothing style.

Danilo Pereira da Silva (Feyenoord)

Danilo Pereira da Silva left for Europe as an 18-year-old talent from Brazil's Santos to join Ajax. Last summer, Danilo transferred to Feyenoord and the striker immediately scored a conveyor belt for the Rotterdammers. For the colorful striker, the sunflower is central. A flower that suits the Brazilian's warm personality and his colorful clothing style. No screaming brands and full printed hoodies, but clean and beautiful to the eye. For you, is Danilo the Fashion Player of the Year?

Devyne Rensch (Ajax)

Devyne Rensch takes his first steps on the soccer field at VV Unicum in Lelystad. The soccer talent does not go unnoticed and Ajax picks up Rensch. At seventeen, the right back manages to make his debut in the first team of Ajax. Devyne is a multi-talent and is a danger not only defensively but also offensively. As versatile as the tulip that you can see passing by in almost all colors. Faithful, cheerful and of course elegant. This is how MASTERS describes the tulip, but also certainly Devyne.

Tijjani Reijnders (AZ)

On July 29, 1998, Tijjani Reijnders is born in Zwolle. For the local FC, PEC Zwolle, Reijnders makes his debut in the Eredivisie. And it stays with that one match: the talent leaves for the other side of the country to play soccer at AZ. Meanwhile, Reijnders reigns in the midfield of the Alkmaarers. With his graceful passes, fiery distance shots and how he moves like a great in midfield, the Eremurus fits the 24-year-old midfielder perfectly.

Anwar El Ghazi (PSV)

Anwar El Ghazi played in recent years on behalf of Aston Villa and Everton in the English Premier League. This season, the winger can be admired again on Dutch fields with PSV. A new beginning, that is what the blossom stands for and what Anwar is working on. The originally Japanese flower stands for the life we do not have in our hands. Victory is also out of Anwar's control and he depends on you....
