Look at the Cartier Pasha and the new Tudor Black Bay. Breitling is coming out with special grafted on vintage cars. Another new trend is entering into unique collaborations, such as between watch brand Louis Erard and Alain Silberstein. Louis Erard has not given a designer a free hand before, Alain Silberstein has not designed a watch before. Still, steel or white gold is the most popular, but we also see a penchant for yellow gold. In a world where digital seems to dominate, mechanical timepieces, in particular, are appreciated because of the craftsmanship required for them. Our industry is also focusing on sustainability. For example, Breitling makes watch bands from leftover fishing nets. Plenty of exciting developments that we showed you at MASTERS EXPO." - David Bijlsma, Chief Commercial Officer Gassan Diamonds.
