The particular shape of all components of this series follows the organic silhouette of a flowering tulip, creating an almost sculptural and affectionate character. In the same style, Starck designed the round countertop basin with its aesthetically shaped, slightly outward sloping rim. The rectangular basin seen from above also takes this shape.
