Watertoren Duin & Bosch

Mill

Sleeping in one of the most striking tools of the Alblasserwaard? It doesn't get any more Dutch than that. The Jan van Arkel is a corn mill that has been running since 1852 in the small village of Arkel. You wake up here with a view of the Merwedekanaal where boats sail by. In fact, hotel rooms are located under the mill's circumference. Recently the mill was renovated, the old elements of the almost 200 year old mill can be recognized everywhere.

Water tower

Sure to come back rested from a weekend getaway? Located in Castricum, you can enjoy undisturbed comfort in this high-altitude Water Tower. Durable materials and high-quality products give the design suite an industrial, modern atmosphere. Lying in a king-size double bed, the surrounding windows give you a truly breathtaking 360-degree view of the surroundings and watch the sun set in the sea. But you can also have a good time at the foot of the Water Tower. For here lies the Noordhollands Duinreservaat where you can get lost walking or cycling along the most beautiful trails.

Monastery
