Palazzo Grassi, Venice, Italy

"If you go to Venice, it's nice to eat good food, do some touristy things, but also be sure to visit the Palazzo Grassi. The former palace on the Grand Canal underwent a complete renovation when it came into the possession of the Fiat Group led by Gianni Agnelli in 1973, who turned it into a fine arts exhibition building. As of 2006, the palazzo was owned by French businessman François Pinault. This billionaire and art patron had it redesigned by Japanese architect Tadao Ando to display his art collection."

Taiko Bar, Conservatorium hotel, Amsterdam

"It used to be called Tunes, now Taiko. Nice cocktail bar, small, dark, with a nice smoking area for when I feel like having a cigar. We did our drinks there after the installation of the sculpture Self Portrait of a Dreamer on Museum Square."

Amazonico, London, England

"A restaurant with lots of palm trees, greenery and natural materials, a bit of the rainforest feel. From Latin American cuisine, you can expect dishes like Peruvian sushi and grilled meats. After Madrid and London, Amazonico now has a branch in Dubai. That is emerging as the newest place in town."

Four Seasons Hotel Dubai, UAE

"Insanely beautiful rooms, top service, everything well organized down to the last detail... I could spend a thousand and one nights there!"

Beach House Marbella, Spain

"Super good food and live entertainment. We saw the Gyspy Kings perform there and a fake Amy Winehouse. Hearty fun!"
