A London-based company has succeeded in revamping an iconic Ford model. A fast and all-electric version based on the 1967 Mustang Fastback. And no worries; despite the vintage look, no classics are being sacrificed. MASTERS casts its gaze on the low-energy racing monster: meet The '67.
Each copy of the '67 is manufactured with an official Mustang body, which is based on the iconic 1967 Fastback. Although the electric version appears unchanged in appearance compared to the old model, there are new features. For example, LED lighting has been added, the grille is closed, due to the absence of an internal combustion engine, and the original Mustang logo has been replaced with that of the British company. Only 499 of the '67 will be made in total.
The company behind the updated Mustang is London-based Charge Cars. The company says it believes in a zero-emission world without losing the beauty of classic cars in it.
