Today, Halloween is celebrated in many countries and big time. 1. Sinister
According to science Sinister is the scariest movie of all time. The so-called Science of Scare Project measured the heart rates of 50 people while watching more than 100 hours of horror movies. The study found that people's average heart rate increased by 32 percent while watching this movie. In the film, Ellison Oswalt, a writer of crime novels, moves with his family to a house where a family was brutally murdered. Soon strange things are happening in the house... 2. Orphan: First KillÂ
This brand new film, directed by William Brent Bell, was released Sept. 1 this year. Thirteen years after Orphan was released, this new version plays Orphan: First Kill, is set in the time before the first film. The homicidal Leena escapes from a mental institution in Estonia and travels to the US. Here she poses as the missing daughter of a well-to-do family, which lovingly reunites her in their arms after four years. However, the mother of the family becomes suspicious and must eventually protect her family from the murderous child.... In case you are still looking for a fun outing during Halloween, the movie is currently running in theaters.
3. Halloween EndsÂ
Another film that lends itself perfectly to being admired on the big screen during Halloween is the very appropriate Halloween Ends. Four years after the events of Halloween Kills, which came out last year, Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson. After the most recent massacre, the town of Haddonfield has returned to normal. Yet evil still lurks and it seems Laurie must confront it once and for all.
4. ScreamÂ
Twenty-five years after the first murders by Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, the quiet town of Woodsboro is again rocked by a killer in a Ghostface costume. To unmask the killer and survive themselves, a group of youngsters enlist the help of the survivors of the original massacre. Wondering who is hiding behind the Ghostface mask this time? 5. SmileÂ
After a traumatic incident with a patient, psychiatrist Rose has to deal with ominous events that she cannot explain and only she can see. Searching for answers, Rose becomes increasingly convinced that she is being haunted by a force that is not only supernatural, but also highly malevolent. Smile was released at the end of September this year and received rave reviews. The film is currently running in several theaters.
