Gastronomic delights at MASTERS EXPO

Between business, there was plenty of room at MASTERS EXPO to also enjoy culinary hotspots. In addition to star restaurant M* , where 26 Michelin-starred chefs, good for no fewer than 42 Michelin stars, pampered guests for five days of the fair, visitors could sit down at Club M., Dai Ragazzi, Creations by Ciel Bleu and Encore by Simonis, among others. Restaurant M*

Framed by live music provided by the artists of Pasta e Basta restaurant and DJs Hans Stroeve and Berber Esha, guests were able to enjoy a star-studded lunch or dinner. The best chefs of the Netherlands stood shoulder to shoulder and shared their passion with each other and with the audience. This year, the ambiance was again helped by top designer Mariska Jagt, who designed a contemporary accommodation for five days. Also this year, culinary entrepreneur Carsten Klint, co-founder and curator of the annual largest Michelin pop-up restaurant, ensured that guests lacked nothing. They were welcomed with Perle Imperial Caviar and Champagne Philipponnat. And then it all had yet to begin....

A record: 26 celebrity chefs signed on for 42 Michelin stars

Restaurant M* kicked off with a delicious lunch on Thursday, catered by Nelson Tanate (Restaurant De Librije ***), Erik van Loo (Restaurant Parkheuvel **), Soenil Bahadoer (Restaurant DeLindehof**) and Fred Mustert (Restaurant Fred **). In the afternoon, the restaurant was transformed for a dinner where Edwin Vinke (Restaurant De Kromme Watergang **), Martin Kruithof (Restaurant De Lindenhof **), Stefan van Sprang (Restaurant Aan de Poel **) and Dick Middelweerd (Restaurant De Treeswijkhoeve **) spoiled the guests with their best dishes.

On Friday the dishes were provided by Dennis Huwaë (Restaurant Daalder *), Egon van Hoof (Restaurant MOS *), Roy Eijkelkamp (Restaurant De Bokkedoorns **) and Richard van Oostenbrugge & Thomas Groot (Restaurant 212 **) and on Saturday by Dennis Kuipers (RestaurantVinkeles*, TheDylan), Tim Golsteijn (Restaurant Bougainville *, Hotel TwentySeven), Chris Naylor (Restaurant Vermeer *, NH Collection Barbizon Palace) and Onno Kokmeijer & Arjan Speelman ( Restaurant Ciel Bleu **, Hotel Okura)

Jazzy Sunday was the day of Sidney Schutte (Restaurant Spectrum **, Waldorf), Astoria Jermain de Rozario (Restaurant De Rozario *) Michel van der Kroft (Restaurant 't Nonnetje **) and Bas van Kranen (Flore - v/h Bord'Eau *, De L'Europe).

The Leading Ladies Lunch 2021, powered by Breitling, the networking lunch for true leading ladies, took place on Monday. The ladies lacked nothing, the beautiful completely vegetarian dishes were served by Jarno Eggen (Restaurant De Groene Lantaarn **), Margo Reuten (Restaurant Da Vinci *), Edwin Kats (Restaurant Noble * and Noble Kitchen *, Bernardus Golf).

Culinary trips

At Club M., visitors were able to enjoy - coronaproof - the best food and drinks provided by Encore By Simonis. All while enjoying various live performances. From jazz and pop to soul and classical. Sushi from Boathouse On Location could also be enjoyed on the exhibition floor, a beautiful restaurant was set up by Creations by Ciel Bleu and various drinks could be enjoyed at the bar of Encore By Simonis. The enthusiastic men of Dai Ragazzi brought a piece of Italy to the fair floor: the perfect coffee and the finest luxury sandwiches.
