Breguet since 1775: fresh and timelessly elegant

The technique of engraving and decorating metal is also known as guillochering. Breguet has fully mastered the traditional mastery of hand guillochering, putting a new spin on two legendary models from the Classique collection, the 7137 and the 7337. In the starry sky, an embossed moon gives a new dimension to the representation of the phases of the moon. Classique line

With its timeless elegance, the Classique line is the epitome of Breguet style in its purest form. The new Classique 7137, inspired by a historic watch, showcases the art of traditional guilloche like no other. The reading zones of the silvered gold dial are subtly distinguished from each other by varying motifs. The Classique 7137 has a panier maillé motif(woven basket) on the part of the power reserve, a checkerboard motif for the date display and a clous de Paris motif for the main part of the dial. The time can be easily read thanks to the typical "pomme évidée" hands. This style of refined hands was already prescribed by Breguet 200 years ago. The hours are indicated in Roman numerals. The watch features an individual number, and for those with an eye for detail, a secret signature can be spotted. On the back, a sapphire glass of the Classique 7137 reveals the extra-flat automatic caliber 502.3 which has been decorated by hand. The round case is 18-karat rose gold. Making the balance spring of temperature and magnetism insensitive silicon continues Abraham-Louis Breguet 's quest for precision.

Both the Classique 7137 and Classique 7337 are inspired by historic watches. Aesthetically, these watches go straight back to the historic pocket watch. However, in a new look.
