It is this precise ethos that has produced this latest creation, the ARC-52.
At its core is the ARC-52 is a celebration of a long-standing partnership with the British brand Aston Martin. Bowmore ARC-52 is the story of a groundbreaking Aston Martin design that brings to life a striking decanter, as never seen before, containing within it one of the oldest Bowmore-whiskies ever made. A collaboration between two iconic brands at the very highest level that combines innovation and creativity from two worlds showcases en which the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
An ingenious object; half Bowmore, half Aston Martin. It is a concept of balance that defines every aspect of the ARC-52. The advanced engineering of Aston Martin combined with the unwavering attention to detail and craftsmanship of Bowmore has made the ARC-52 a reality. Bringing these two worlds together was not without its challenges and much time was invested to realize the vision.
This single malt promises undeniable complexity, but is perfectly balanced by these individual styles in equal parts. The classic Bowmore-character is captured with herbal and medicinal notes combined with exotic fruit, praline and butterscotch to finish. Creamy and fruity aromas of vanilla and custard cream are carefully balanced with peach, pear, kumquat, tangerine, a touch of guava with spicy notes of fresh mint and eucalyptus. On the palate this continues to evolve. Smake of green grapes, peche melba, clementine and lime peel blend seamlessly with nutty notes of almond and hazelnuts, while tobacco leaf gives way to a subtle peat ash and buttery character.
The arst in a new inspiring series, only 100 copies of ARC-52 will be available in a selection of worldwide markets, including the VUnited Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the U.S., Canada, China, Singapore and Global Travel Retail at a cost of € 80.000,-.
