Classic hamburger

  • 600 grams of minced beef
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of paprika
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 large tomato
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 packs of cheddar
  • 1 head of lettuce

For the sauce:

  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 25 g ketchup
  • 25 g mustard
  • 10 g sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)

Knead the minced meat and add it to a bowl. To this add the egg and paprika and season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together and divide and equal portions and shape it like a hamburger. Peel the onion and cut the onion and jalapeño pepper into thin rings. Slice the tomato and cut the hamburger buns in half.

Place the bacon on the baking sheet and fry for a few minutes until crispy. Fry the onion rings in the released fat until tender and golden brown.

Then place the burgers on the grill, cover with a lid and grill the burgers for about 3 minutes. Flip the burgers and grill for 1 minute more. Leave the burgers on the grill and top with the fried onion rings, bacon, jalapeño and a slice of cheddar. Place both halves of the burger buns on the cut surface on the grill and cover with a lid. After 2 minutes, check to see if the cheese has melted and the buns are well toasted.

Brush the bottom half of the buns with the sauce and top with the lettuce and tomato slices. Place the topped burger on top, spoon another spoonful of sauce on top and cover with the top of the bun. Attack away.

Salmon

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 lime
  • 1 scallion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 red pepper
  • Dash of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 125 gr bean sprouts
  • 75 gr carrot julienne

Chop the garlic clove, ginger and half of the red pepper very finely and combine in a bowl. Then squeeze the lime and stir this in along with the garlic, ginger, red pepper and soy sauce. Now set this bowl aside for a moment.

Lightly oil the piece of aluminum foil in the center. Spread a handful of carrots and bean sprouts on this. Next, place the salmon on this and pour some of the soybean gel with the spices over the salmon. Now cut the spring onion and the remaining part of the red pepper into small rings and divide this over the salmon. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Now fold the package tightly and also fold up the sides. Now put this on the barbecue for about 8 to 10 minutes and enjoy.

Vegetarian burger

  • 200 gr chickpeas
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of chili powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Save
  • Tomato
  • Carrot

Rinse the chickpeas and drain. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat a pan on the stove with some oil and fry the garlic and onion in it for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

Put the chickpeas in a bowl and use a fork to mash them. You can also do this in a blender or with a hand blender, if necessary. They do not have to be completely fine, but it is okay to have some coarse pieces. Now add the fried garlic and onion to the chickpeas along with the barbecue sauce, flour, cumin powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix until cohesive and set aside.

Now make the cucumber salad. To do this, slice the cucumber very thinly or use a mandolin or cheese slicer to cut thin slices. Finely chop the chives. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the mayonnaise, lemon juice, cucumber, chives, garlic powder and a pinch of salt.

Form 2 burgers from the chickpea mixture and fry them brown on both sides. Do grease them well with oil beforehand and make sure they don't get too dark while frying.

Cut the buns in half and spread with some barbecue sauce, top with the burger, cucumber salad, some lettuce, tomato slices and carrot.
