AN APARTMENT UP TO THE CLOUDS

Miami's skyline will get a new addition with the arrival of a 320-meter-high residential tower. With this enormous height, the so-called Waldorf Astoria tower in Miami will become one of the tallest residential towers in the world.Text: Fleur de Jong
Image: ArX SolutionsTheambitious design is the work of architect Carlos Ott. Carlos is best known for building the Opera Bastille in Paris. The residential tower in Miami will consist of a series of nine glass cubes stacked playfully on top of each other. One of the developers calls it a great challenge to make something that almost looks like it can't be made.

Fully equipped

California-based company BAMO has been hired to do the interiors of the residential tower. Amenities offered by this residential tower include a restaurant, swimming pool, meeting rooms, spa and fitness center. The apartments themselves will feature smart-home technology, allowing residents to request a variety of services, such as restaurant reservations, with a few taps on the screen. In addition to all the amenities, of course, you will have exceptional views of the city from every corner of the apartment, offering unobstructed views of the nearby waterfront.

An apartment in this tower costs about 1 million euros.
