LuminAir

The motto at LuminAir? Sky-high vibes. This elevated sky bar and the spacious terrace atop the DoubleTree by Hilton are the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and be seen. The innovative interior literally reflects the skies above Amsterdam: cloud-shaped installations and spectacular light projections change with the time of day.

Did you know that no evening here is ever the same? Even the lighting and visuals change according to the weather and the guests' mood. LuminAir also regularly organizes theme nights and DJ sets, making every visit a new journey of discovery.

Equatorial

For those seeking adventure at great heights, Selva is the place to be. On the 24th floor of the iconic nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel, a magical world unfolds, paying tribute to the Amazon rainforest, the lungs of the earth. Here, you can savor the exotic flavors of Latin America while enjoying breathtaking 360° views of Amsterdam.

The interior, designed by the renowned El Equipo Creativo, is bursting with vibrant colors and organic shapes, inspired by the lush nature and textures of the Amazon. The result is a tropical paradise that will leave you speechless.

Fun fact: in 2024, Selva was awarded Best New Roof Terrace by the Entree Magazine Awards.

Hasta La Vista Baby

Hasta La Vista Baby isn't your average Mediterranean rooftop bar. As the name suggests, this place has a unique and inviting atmosphere. Shared dining is key here, with dishes that are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The playful interior creates a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for spending many a summer evening at high altitude.

On the IJ River, you'll find Helling 7, a restaurant on a former shipyard slipway that seamlessly combines industrial charm with sustainability. The old shipyard canteen has been given a modern makeover, using reclaimed shipbuilding materials, from wooden floors to steel structures. In the open kitchen, chef Carl Gast and his team (with experience at Taiko, MOER, and Baut, among others) are behind the fire, where grilling, roasting, and smoking over wood take center stage. 

Besides an extensive menu, Helling 7 also offers a nautical-themed cocktail menu, curated by Tim Lefevre of the renowned cocktail bar Door74. The view of the IJ River and the industrial Kraanspoor railway completes the picture. You can easily linger here for hours, with a creative cocktail in hand and the city at your feet.
