Curve Appeal

Years ago, no one could have imagined that this would really be possible: 3D printing. Car parts, other goodies and even food have already been marketed using the 3D printer. In 2021, the unthinkable will come true, as a freeform 3D-printed house is scheduled to be built: the Curve Appeal. Construction of the futuristic house, designed by WATG Urban, is expected to begin in the spring of this year. Earlier in 2020, a 3D-printed house was realized in Japan, but no designer has yet been able to match the size and luxury of the Curve Appeal.

The house offers a complex mix of curved lines and angles. The reason for these shapes? The designer wants to create a positive relationship between the owners of the house and nature. Combined with the bright, large spaces, the chances of success will be optimal. Inspired by the Case Study Houses conceived between 1945 and 1966, the modern 3D printed house will use as few building materials as possible.

Curve Appeal is perhaps the next evolutionary step in the world of modern home design. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, this unique home offers an overwhelming sense of limitless living. No word yet on a purchase price, so for now it's just going to stick to daydreaming....
